Ok, so I’ve been talking to a lot of you on Instagram recently and one thing I noticed is that a lot of you wanted to know (rightfully so) who I am as a person. Upon this realization I scrolled through my past posts and realized that I never actually post about myself. So, I decided to write this article. Also, as a side note, this is my official re-launch of the site because from here on out I will be posting every week. Without further adieu, here it is: 60 useless facts about me.

1. I really love photography but didn’t start practicing it until this past summer when I went on my road trip and got my new camera. I did, however, get my first camera using my own money when I was nine. It was a Bloggie and I bought it because I wanted to be a Youtuber.

   

2. My favorite animals are cats. I like domesticated cats the most because they are fluffy and adorable, but I also love snow leopards, lynxes, sand cats, and cheetahs.
3. I have lived in four different towns and in two different countries (yes, one of them is the US).
4. I have traveled to almost half of the states in the United States.

   

5. I was terrified of and hated dogs until I was in fifth grade.
6. Currently my favorite Bath and Body Works scent is Wild Honeysuckle.
7. I love to sing and have been in choir for years.
8. I absolutely love polaroid cameras. Both old fashioned and new Polaroid cameras are so cool and they make me really happy.

   

9. My favorite colors are light purple, baby blue, and mint green.
10. Polka dots are the best design. End of story.
11. One of my biggest hobbies is baking. I’ve baked all kinds of things including pies, fortune cookies, truffles, lemon bars, homemade pudding, macaroons, and cornbread. I even alter recipes to make them my own. I started baking when I was thirteen and have been baking regularly ever since.
12. I prefer gold over silver when it comes to jewelry except with earrings for some reason.
13. I made a YouTube channel when I was younger and wanted to become famous for it someday.
14. I want to go into the medical research field when I’m older.
15. I listen to basically every type of music imaginable.
16. I don’t wear leggings to school often.
17. I love travel so much and I really want to travel around the world someday.
18. Chocolate and cookies and cream are my two all time favorite flavors for everything.
19. I eat a lot of salad. My salads consist of lettuce, Caesar or thousand islands dressing, and shredded cheddar cheese.
20. I LOVE SUGAR SNAP PEAS.
21. I don’t like Nutella. It’s weirdly sweet and nutty so I prefer peanut butter.
22. My dream school is Harvard.
23. I have a cat named Bobby and a Doberman dog named King.

    

24. I really want to go to Bali because it’s beautiful and I want to take pictures there and blog about it.
25. When I was young I had an eraser collection and then I moved on to collecting keychains. I would buy a new keychain everywhere I traveled.
26. I have traveled to five countries.
27. My camera is bright red.
28. I love Paris and my room is Parisian themed.
29. I prefer mechanical pencils over real pencils.
30. I speak two languages fluently and have been taking French now for five years as my third.
31. I memorize poems that I like.
32. I’m shy when I first meet people but when I get to know them well I’m very outgoing.
33. I  really like pasta, rice, tortillas, shrimp, and, best of all, chicken.
34. I like the red Ice Breakers sours.
35. I own a lot of wallets.
36. I love the aesthetic of pineapples.
37. I always order either pink lemonade or water at restaurants.
38. Whenever I go to ice cream places I like to try weird flavors like cotton candy and apple pie.
39. Pinterest is by far my favorite social media. I rarely post to it but I love browsing it. My favorite thing to do on Pinterest is look up photoshoot ideas.
40. I don’t think I’m an extrovert or introvert, probably more of an ambivert.
41. Winter and fall are my favorite seasons because I love snow, Christmas, changing leaves, and pumpkin stuff.
42. I like Dunkin Donuts better than Starbucks unless I’m getting a chai tea latte.
43. Inspirational quotes are my go to Instagram captions on my personal.
44. I drink way too much tea. Bigelow is my favorite brand of tea and I really like lemon, vanilla chai, and green tea.

    

45. I want to learn German and eventually be able to speak seven languages fluently.
46. I’m really drawn to abandoned places and love the idea of visiting ghost towns to take photos.
47. I used to memorize random facts that I found interesting. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know.
48. I have never met anyone with the same birthday as me.
49. I can’t stand doing nothing. I really like to go places and do interesting stuff instead, even when I’m sick. This is in part because I get bored very easily.
50. I color code stuff a lot and I’m obsessed with scrapbook paper.
51. I love fifties music and dresses.
52. I like going to Ikea because they make really good Swedish meatballs.
53. I am obsessed with cute socks.
54. I know three very useless phrases in German: “Dieses Telegramm ist fur meinen bruder”, “Ich spreche perfekt deutsch aber ich bin kein deutscher”, and “Der kleine junge shaut durch das schlusselloch”.
55. Cacti are my favorite plants, but lemon and palm trees are also definitely on the list.
56. I prefer the forest and mountains to the city and despite the fact that I’m deathly afraid of spiders and hate most bugs, I like camping.

    

57. I really like to read books and watch movies.
58. Person of Interest is my favorite show and it’s on Netflix in case you’re interested.
59. I don’t like drinking water from cups but I do like drinking it from water bottles.
60. I’m kind of a germophobe.
